Our consultants will develop custom iRules to solve your unique business goals, using their extensive knowledge of F5 products to build creative and compatible solutions that address your specific requirements. Designed to assist with short-turnaround scripting requests, iRules OnDemand service can usually handle a request within one business day and is currently available only in North America. The scope of the iRules development itself is between two and four hours and is billed at an hourly rate of $250.00 USD. iRules OnDemand requests that require more than four hours of development will be referred to F5 Professional Services Consulting.

Service Details

iRules OnDemand is designed to provide short iRule development services, requiring a minimum of two hours and a maximum of four hours. iRules OnDemand requests that require more than four hours of development time may be fulfilled at the discretion of F5. You will be billed for all hours spent developing the iRules solution. The hourly billable rate is $250.00 USD.
A Professional Services Consultant will call you to determine whether your scripting request fits within the scope of the iRules OnDemand service. Requests falling outside the scope of iRules OnDemand will be referred to the Professional Services Sales team to obtain a detailed scope of work (SOW) and separate quote.
You will be asked detailed questions about the iRule you are trying to create, and the protocols and applications that the iRule will interact with in the production environment. Please prepare this information in advance to ensure you receive the fastest service possible.
Upon submission of the request form, an F5 consultant will contact you within one business day to confirm your request details and obtain billing information and any necessary technical documentation (such as configurations and network diagrams).
The F5 consultant will begin iRule development after receiving all necessary documentation and after mutual agreement on and confirmation of the request details.
Payment is due immediately upon delivery of the requested iRule. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are the only accepted methods of payment at this time.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm Pacific Time (excluding US holidays).
This service is only available in the United States and Canada and requires an F5 Standard, Premium, or Premium Plus Service contract covering the device on which the iRule will be implemented.
